Rema, a prominent Nigerian artiste, has made history with his popular single ‘Calm Down,’ which now holds the Guinness World Record.

Remember that Rema’s ‘Calm down‘ smashed the record for most streams by an African performer on Spotify just a few days ago? On the international streaming app Spotify, the album had over one billion plays.

According to sources, the track ‘Clam Down’ has made history that no African artist has ever made before.

According to reports, Reman has become the face of African music and the first African singer to obtain a Guinness World record.

Rema’s Calm Down breaks Afrobeats record as most viewed video with 355 million views

Nigerian singer Rema made the most history in his career with his hit single Calm Down.

Calm Down surpassed Ckay’s Love Nwantiti to become the most viewed video in Afrobeat history.

The singer celebrated the achievement with an Instagram post, and fans and colleagues congratulated him.

Rema Announces Concert At The 02 Arena, London

Rema, the afrobeats sensation, will perform his first show at London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena on November 14, 2023.

The popular musician from Nigeria who turned 23 on May 1st announced this on his Twitter page.

He plans to sell out the O2 Arena like his Afrobeats forebears Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy did.

The singer of “Calm Down” is definitely not relaxing. He has announced a Rema Calm Down India Tour, playing to his enormous fan following there.

Between May 12 and May 14, he will headline the tour and give performances in a number of cities.

In a recent interview with i-D Magazine he talked about changing the world’s perspective of African music,

“I see myself as the bridge to take African music to the whole world. I changed the sound. I changed the perspective. The template is mine.”
